U.S. Postal Service reveals Halloween stamps for 2019
The U.S. Postal Service has announced three additional stamp subjects for 2019. More details, including dates and locations for the first-day-of-issue ceremonies, will be coming soon.
In addition to Sesame Street and dinosaur stamps, the USPS will also be releasing what they are calling “Spooky Silhouettes” later this year.
UPDATED: The Halloween stamps will be available for purchase on October 11, 2019.
From the USPS website:
Halloween has long been a holiday that lets us delight in the things that scare us. With the approach of autumn, Spooky Silhouettes stamps will offer fun, frightful scenes that symbolize this annual celebration. Four stamps feature digital illustrations in which traditional Halloween motifs are rendered as black silhouettes in eerily backlit windows. Artist Tyler Lang created the artwork. Art Director Greg Breeding designed the stamps.
We will update this post with the actual release date when available.
