What is FearFest? In 1997, the AMC network launched Monsterfest, a popular week-long marathon of horror movies and thrillers that aired in late October. On September 26, 2008, AMC announced the launch of a new horror-themed movie marathon for its October schedule called “Fearfest” which replaced Monsterfest.  Fear Fest typically runs from mid-October every year until Halloween (often the day after too) and in recent years has run throughout the entire month of October. In 2023 AMC ran a “Kickoff to FearFest” that began on September 25th.

I wish they showed more Chucky movies, more of the original parts of Friday the 13th, and at least most of the original Nightmare on Elm Street movies

Please, please show Trick R Treat more than just October 5 at 1:30 in the afternoon. That movie deserves a night time slot and preferably a few airings in October. Probably one of the best Halloween movies in the history of true Halloween movies!

Prepare for an army of downvotes. People are a little upset by the very notion of schedule changes.

Dawn of the Dead 1978 won’t be on AMC ever, Richard Rubinstein won’t ever allow it, he is a screwball.

“Final Destination” is NOT a Halloween movie!!! It’s a horrible series and of course they’re playing the atrocious sequels

There is no such thing as Halloween movies, in general they are horror movies played for Halloween.
As to the sequals, they can only play what they are allowed to play.
