AMC FearFest
What is FearFest? In 1997, the AMC network launched Monsterfest, a popular week-long marathon of horror movies and thrillers that aired in late October. On September 26, 2008, AMC announced the launch of a new horror-themed movie marathon for its October schedule called “Fearfest” which replaced Monsterfest. Fear Fest typically runs from mid-October every year until Halloween (often the day after too) and in recent years has run throughout the entire month of October. In 2023 AMC ran a “Kickoff to FearFest” that began on September 25th.

I start checking for the new FF schedule every year around the end of August! And always at halloweenmoviesontv! Looks like the 2024 FF lineup is gonna be a good one! Just wish AMC would add the new Halloween trilogy (2018, Kills, Ends). Probably a rights issue, if I had to guess. Happy Halloween! 🎃

I love Halloween for all eternity
Is there a reason why in the 2024 schedule alot of the days in October only show 3 movies each day in the evening hours? Does that mean nothing is playing during the day? Just wondering.
They haven’t released the full schedule yet for those days. We will post that here once available.

Purchased AMC + a couple of years ago to enjoy the nostalgia and spontaneous bliss/ low commitment level of AMC Fear Fest. I keep it year-round now because i love throwing AMC on in the living room and just stumbling upon a great film.
AMC Fear Fest will play in my house every October as long as its alive. It’s officially Halloween Eve everyone!!
