AMC FearFest
What is FearFest? In 1997, the AMC network launched Monsterfest, a popular week-long marathon of horror movies and thrillers that aired in late October. On September 26, 2008, AMC announced the launch of a new horror-themed movie marathon for its October schedule called “Fearfest” which replaced Monsterfest. Fear Fest typically runs from mid-October every year until Halloween (often the day after too) and in recent years has run throughout the entire month of October. In 2023 AMC ran a “Kickoff to FearFest” that began on September 25th.

FearFest returns all month long this October on AMC!
AMC shared a short teaser for this year’s “FearFest” celebration, including clips from the Hellraiser, Friday the 13th, Halloween, and A Nightmare on Elm Street franchises.
Other films featured in the video include Creepshow, Poltergeist, The Thing, and The Shining.
2024 AMC Fear Fest Schedule
AMC’s annual horror marathon FearFest is bringing the frights in the lead-up to Halloween with 31 days of genre programming featuring 80 films and 400 hours of programming. Includes the iconic film franchises Halloween, Friday the 13th, A Nightmare on Elm Street, and Stephen King classics.

I’m in love with the Fear Fest for many years but I just don’t understand why put the movies marathon in descending order?
Why not show the original texas chainsaw massacre as well? how can you show the remake but not the original! Other than that fantastic schedule

Why dont I have fearfest ads in the amc+ subscription? This is literally the only reason I buy it this time of the year and all I get is the “amc will be right back” message for the whole commercial break or the BK commercial.
The Burger King commercials make watching AMC unbearable. “Beeeeee Kaaaaaaaaay”. I hate it!

I love AMC FEAR FEST bc every year me and my dad always sits down in the living room and have are dinner while watching AMC FEAR FEST but now I can’t watch it with him bc he passed away 4 years ago as of August the 24th 2020 from a really bad heart attack but I still continue the tradition that me and my dad started I still watch it with out him just pretending he is with me watching it together ❤️

@ J Wright. I was telling my kids the same thing. Not only Amc would show it for a week but we also had Tnt’s Monstervision and Usa Network. I remember being glued to my television for just one day watching slasher movie marathons in the 80s and 90s on the weekend of Halloween. Then being disappointed because I wanted to watch more but had to wait until the following year to watch those marathons. Now we have it for a whole month matter of fact Amc started even earlier this year which is awesome. I would tell everyone to enjoy this and not complain. So what they show the same movies over and over, again and again. Get a your favorite snacks and enjoy the show and remember it only comes once a year so enjoy Fearfest.
