One of the big 3 cable movie networks from the 1980s, along with HBO & Showtime,  Cinemax has been going strong since its debut in 1980.  With one of the largest library of modern horror films, Cinemax was one of the first cable networks to show horror classics such as Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street.   The current Cinemax cable family has 8 channels dedicated to showing movies 24 hours a day, with the main Cinemax channel showing a steady stream of the best horror movies from over the past 40+ years.

This month Cinemax has a wide selection of horror movies such as It, House of 1000 Corpses and The Devil’s Rejects.
