Disney Channel Monstober
What is Monstober? Monstober (previously named Disney Channel’s Hauntober Fest and later called Wiz-tober in 2008) was a nightly marathon of Halloween-related movies that debuted on October 1, 2005 on Disney Channel. In 2012, Wiz-tober was renamed Monstober to prepare for the Girl Vs. Monster premiere. Monstober officially ended after October 2016. Beginning in 2021, Disney Channel ran the “Calling All the Monsters” programming block during October, featuring various Halloween-themed TV specials and original movies. It is rumored that the Disney Channel will be re-launching the Monstober programming event in October 2024.

I agree with allll above 🙁 I have watched Halloweentown EVERY YEAR since my 22 yr d was 1yr old and all siblings there after yes you can go buy it but it’s not the same. All the Halloweentown and the Twitches movies please Disney bring back the real Halloween movies

Ummmm, you just killed Halloween I make my family watch with me every year and now we won’t be. I’m so sad. What the heck???? Disney Halloween isn’t the same anymore. I miss the days of who ever write the movies for twitches, halloweentown whi ever you had write them movies hire them back ASAP!!!!!!
And when I say I make my family I mean like 10 houses were all in skype watching together every year for years in different states. My family members called me the other day asking e what are we going to watch together on the weekends and nights.

Disney has officially lost their halloween mojo. The line up over the last couple of tears has gotten weaker and weaker. Bring back the true halloween movies. My kids wont even watch disney channel anymore because the “classics” arent being played i.e halloweentown movies, under wraps, twitches… its tradition to sit down and watch these movies as a family leading up to halloween and then watch hocus pocus while they sort through candy after trick or treating. Now all 5 kids have boycott disney and it doesnt even feel like halloween. They are in their disney prime (10 years and under)
