What is Monstober? Monstober (previously named Disney Channel’s Hauntober Fest and later called Wiz-tober in 2008) was a nightly marathon of Halloween-related movies that debuted on October 1, 2005 on Disney Channel. In 2012, Wiz-tober was renamed Monstober to prepare for the Girl Vs. Monster premiere. Monstober officially ended after October 2016. Beginning in 2021, Disney Channel ran the “Calling All the Monsters” programming block during October, featuring various Halloween-themed TV specials and original movies. It is rumored that the Disney Channel will be re-launching the Monstober programming event in October 2024.

This is a disgrace and I really hope that this will be updated and add a LOT more movies. As a Disney lover I’m extremely disappointed and will be upset if I don’t get to watch more Halloween movies than this for monstober

    • Last year Disney Channel only aired Halloweentown twice and Twitches once, both during the last week of the month. We are anticipating the same for this year and should know for sure soon.

The last movie Disney made for Halloween was invisible sister 2015. What’s going on?? Last year you aired a movie that had nothing to do with Halloween who is making the decisions at Disney?? So disappointed!! We look forward to these movies and nothing the past 2 years. Makes no sense I know these movies are extremely popular.

If all the early late 90’s and early 2000’s Halloween movies aren’t playing, what’s the point if watching Disney Channel or freeform this month. Everyone wants to see there childhood movies. This lineup is horrible. Bring back the Halloween Town series, Twiches 1 & 2, Phantom of the Megaplex, Don’t Look Under the Bed and Hocus Pocus.
